Time to put the race wheels back on my bike for CdA. It leaves with TriBikeTransport on Thursday (OMG, already???). Will the PT computer work at all without the hub? If so, HOW??? I can’t figure it out and neither could the guys at my LBS.

Some versions of the PowerTap CPU work as a regular bike computer if
a.) you just put a magnet on the rear
b.) you change the mode of the CPU
If you have a Pro CPU, the instructions are in the manual.
