What is the status of Mr. Tibbs account? Did we get him a Big Wheel yet?
Think I recall seeing recently that Hid was going to be away for the next couple of days. Said he’d work on it more when he got back. It is kind of odd to not see Gerard around for so long…someone needs to make some negative comments about the performance of their Cervelo to draw him out of hiding.
So have they come up with a final quote on jersey prices?
And Second part, what color will Tibbs Cervelo be? The jersey should match that.
-The coolness manifesto, it’s close, really
in reference to Tibbs’ post - jerseys are ready?
Hid, how was Ralphs?

Not necessary. I’m in Europe for the Spring Classics (we just got the team some R1 prototypes and three riders used them in Flanders today) so I’m rather busy and my internet connection is slower than Gerard at an Ironman Canada swim.
You were in Flanders today? God how I hate you! ![]()
Anyway, what happened to Bartoli? Good race From Frank Hoj btw, was he on one of the prototypes? ![]()
Hoj was on an R2.5. Bartoli (who was on a Soloist Team) has had some trouble with a bronchitis these past weeks. Thomas Bruun Eriksen (who was in the lead group for a long time), Michaelsen and Hoffman were on the R1. We’ll be building up a few more and I think there will be another couple of riders on them at Paris-Roubaix.
You’ll be watching P-R too??? I’m not talking to you anymore! :-)))
Never forgotten
.
What is the R1? upgrade of R2.5?
R1 is an Aluminum frame with the same design angle as the R2.5, so optimized stiffness-to-weight ratio. As opposed to the Soloist line, which are aero road bikes and the P line, which are TT/tri bikes.
Listen Tibbs, these are so brand new none have been made yet, so there definitely isn’t one with a scratch yet :-). Although, what size are you anyway? We don’t know if/when it will come out, depends on how much we have to change after we get the first feedback. I’m thinking it won’t be that much, but training and racing Paris-Roubaix this week will be the ultimate test. Bartoli just took his back to Italy to train this week and then use it in Roubaix, so that will be exciting.
Damn, I love the thought of bike made in North America taking over the peloton.
