He was/is a pro from Eastern Europe, Poland maybe, who won one of the ironman events 2-3 years ago and was possibly top 10 at Kona during 2003-2005. I want to say his name was Peter or something similar sounding. What I do remember was he was in the military and only trained on weekends and when he could get time off. There was a profile of him in Triathlete after his success and I wanted to look up some info on him. Tried the web but too many wrong turns.
Thought it might be Peter Kropo but couldn’t find what I was looking for.
