hi,
my garmin 305 just died, just a few days after its 1 year warranty expired.
i talked with Garmin Support and they are adamant that it’s out of the warranty period.
it would really help me a lot if i can get a soft copy receipt of a watch that is still under warranty.
if it’s been close to one year since you bought this watch,
and you feel that most likely your watch will not break down before the end of the one year period
please send me this receipt by email so i can get my watch replaced or repaired.
i would really appreciate it if you can help out.
please send me a personal message and i’ll respond with my email address.
collaborate in this manner can benefit everyone in this forum
maybe one day when your watch breaks down and itr’s out of warranty, i or someone else in this forum
can help you in a similar manner.
thanks is advance.
I am the son of a Nigerian prince, and have access to the sum of $100,000,000 that was found in the bottom of my old electronics drawer. I also came across a receipt for a Garmin 305! However, I require a small sum in advance to pay for its duplication. Please post your banking details here, and 10% of the money, and the receipt will be yours!
After rereading your post, I am glad your an honest guy with it “just” falling out of warrenty. Hate to have someone with one that went out of warrenty a long time ago!
ennnhh …wrong Efesefes7. Kenney’s first use of your was indeed used correctly as he was shortening you are ( you are and honest guy…) and therefore should have used you’re. Just and FYI, the ’ in you’re indicates the missing “a”. Kenny’s second use was correct. In his second post Keeney was showing possession by saying your post, referring to the unethical post you made. Had he wrote you’re instead, it would have read as follows. reading you are post… Maybe you should worry about YOUR possibly illegal posting rather than the grammar in the replies to it. I doubt YOU’RE going to get much help.
ok, you are (let there be no mistake) a judgemental person who jumps to conclusion without checking all the facts.
Kny(e/yee/), in his 2nd post also said “i’m glad your an honest guy” and that’s what i was referring to.
do you make these kinds of mistakes often?
i doubt if anyone other than you and maybe KNY undestands your justification of keNy’s 1st post error,
but before trying to look for other people’s errors, why don’t you make sure your post is clean (because it’s not) and ethical (ha ha)
then take a good look at your life before judging others. expressing judgement of others, (don’t fool yourself,) by no means makes you a better person…
I don’t think you’re doing yourself any favors by continuing to post snippy replies in your dubiously porposed thread. What you’re attempting to do constitutes fraud, which I don’t imagine most of the upstanding denizens of Slowtwitch want much to do with.

Well, yeah. But Kenney made a typo for Pete’s sake. Are we just supposed to let that slide?!?!?!?!
thanks to all those who send me the encouraging messages and
sorry i didn’t respond to some of you but i do not need any more receipt copies.
thanks a lot and i hope i can reciprocate when needed… (post here if needed)
i agree with who wrote me “we would never buy a watch like that, for so much, if we were told that it would last just over a year. THAT is fraud!”.
