I must be nuts to post this but wanted to know if anyone else has had to deal with this issue with their junk.
I have been riding for 20 years but in the last month, when I do intervals or climb pretty hard, It feels like someone punted me in the balls. The drivers side one in particular. This is on the rode bike. I don’t have a TT bike at the moment. It almost feels like a hernia but I had an ultra sound a week ago and it came back negative. Not sure what to do next.
A bit of history:
Age 37
Inguinal Hernia repair 6 years ago on that side.
Vasectomy 1 year ago. I raced a full season of Cross with no pain though.
Did you have an open hernia repair of did they use mesh/laparoscopic? I have a pal who had the mesh used about 10 years ago and it prolapsed back into his hernia when the staples pulled loose. Basically the mesh was migrating around, above and inside his hernia…I have never seen a guy so happy to go IN to surgery.

Aren’t your nuts worth a second opinion? If the Dr. tells you that you are fine, you should kick him in the nuts as hard as you can and then ask him if that felt “fine”.
