Hi, unfortunately, I’m only from Switzerland, but for the Americans it’s most of the time the same (how many times when I told an american I was from Switzerland the answer was : oh, why are you not blond then ??).

Ignorance is global: for almost 30 years now, when I’m in Switzerland, Liechtenstein or Germany and they see my Texas driver’s license they STILL ask me if I live on a ranch!!!

Hats off to your two kids for their Triathlon results, by the way (oh sorry, I thought all Texans wore hats).
I’ll be a dad for the first time at the end of the year, so don’t worry if I ask you some questions in a few years on how to motivate them to follow in their dad’s footsteps (without pushing them too much, or having them do somehting they don’t want to do).

No problems with questions. Believe me, I asked a lot of them along the way! If they don’t choose triathlon, don’t be disappointed and support whatever they do.
