I’m a natural heel stiker. I’m trying to work on my running economy and thinking of trying to be more of a mid-foot or forefoot striker. I haven’t consulted any coaches.
Should I stick to my natural heel strike or try move to mid/fore foot strike.
Best advice i got from Gordo was not to change but to “shorten stride and increase cadence”. I now run better and more injury free, for example before i was a big heel striker at around 78-80 cadence and now am at 84-86 and strike some what midfoot.
