Hed Wheel Prob

My Alps on the Lucero are rubing on the fork… it is the black outer dustcap/ disc which is rubbing. Can I remove these and ride away?

Called HED and they sent me two new cones… but the cones are not the prob, they don’t rub

Did you tell Hed that? Why let them send you something that won’t fix the problem?

HED were great- but maybe the prob was lost in translation? Unless the cones get replaced and the dustcaps can be put back on, but the cones look identical in size!

I suppose there is the possibility they know something you (or I, for that matter) do not know on this subject…I guess try it and see what happens!

Why don’t you just call and ask them? Ask for Anne or Andy…

So, what you’re saying is that the Lucero fork bulges out (in towards the wheel) far enough and close enough to the drop out to contact part of the hub that should be spinning?
