HED Stinger 90 on a road bike

Anybody have these on their road bike? I know they are used for TT but was just curious

It will give you the same aero advantage as on any other bike. For a race I’d use it, but not as a regular training wheel.

It’s a nice wheel. I did not have much experience with them, but MissP had a loaner from her Road Racing sponsor, D’Ornellas Bike Shop in Toronto for the Canadian National Road Racing Championships. She used it as her rear wheel on her TT bike. Seemed to work well for her - she finished first in the Master Women’s 15K ITT!!

Great stuff! I don’t know the Zipp wheels that well, what to the Stinger 90’s compare to in the Zipp brand

Bjorn rides 90s on his SLC and likes them. Here is his SLC that he road at the Tour of Belize - we have since built him up the same build on an SLC SL that he road to victory in Swedish sprint nationals

Note the bastogne rear, his stinger 90 suffered a puncture and he had to switch wheels).
