Hi, I just picked up my brand new hed jet disc and the carbon fairing has 3 small dents/imperfections on the bulge on the drive train side??? Is this normal? I tried to pull them out with sticky tape and a suction cup but no luck:( I haven’t even rode the wheel yet but its called 3 small dents. Is this a big deal? Is this normal on the hed jet discs?
I’m thinking I should return the wheel but I don’t know?

Explain that 1st sentence, post a pic and call Hed. Not necesarily in that order though.
I picked up the wheel today from bike shop mounted on my Felt B2R. When I got home i noticed a few small dents/imperfections on the bulge area of wheel. The carbon fairing has no cracks or is not damaged but its just a small dent in 3 different spots along the bulge area on outside of wheel.
I’ll try and get a picture later and most likely will contact hed or my LBS.
I just don’t know if these small dents even matter besides not looking the best cosmetically.

Even if they don’t effect performance I would be getting a new one, you paid good money for a wheel it should be in perfect shape
