Hed Aerolab V04 TT framset

Has anyone seen one in person?

I was reading “Procycling mag” today and saw a double page spread on this new offering by Hed.

Looks similar in finish to the P3SL - with a rear carbon triangle

Sweet looking ride.

The website listed is www.hedaerolab.com but does not offer much info.

I have attached a pic I was able to find by googling.

Didn’t that frame come out in 2003? I’ve seen one at a race, but otherwise the response to it has been fairly underwhelming. Were they marketed more in the UK? I don’t remember.

I just posted some new pictures of the V04 on the Web site today. The geometry is on the site too. I know that the frames are few and far between. The demand is very high but they are coming.

The demand to see the bike is very high. I’ll post a larger image on the Hed site.

Stay tuned.

OK, a medium-rez image of the bike is now up.

.

I wonder why the top tube is so wide? …and the seat tube so narrow (more aero?)…I would have swtched 'em…looks sorta like the old Blade configuration.

I haven’t seen the VO4, but I owned a VO3. It’s a very nice TT bike, but perhaps a bit harsh of a ride for Olympic use and over. The Hed folks really nailed the geo, it fit me great…

The only issue I had with the bike was the derail guides on the headtube interfered with the brake arm…
