Hed 3D, no more?

Hey all, I was just went to the HED website (www.hedcycling.com) and didnt see the 3D as an offered product. Is it out of production? whats up?

I know it sounds strange, but have you thought about calling HED on the telephone number that’s listed on that same website you looked at and asking them directly? It should take you about 1-2 minutes and give you a more accurate and detailed answer than you’d receive here, I’d guess.

theoretically this was quicker, i think Hed is closed at 8p on a friday.

And, i dont want to buy one, i just want to know if it exists, and dont want to talk to a salesman about the 3D. I know the HED people are great nice people but still.

I agree…just dial the toll free # and ask when you can get some 3D Hed…Simple.

I know for a fact that they aren’t producing these wheels anymore. Talked to the distributer(sp?) here in Oz and he said they are a no go to continue. Had this conversation before xmas, as I wanted one, but couldnt get one. Bought a Renn instead.

If i’m not mistaken, HED had stopped production ob the 3D’s because they were having problems with tolerances. The only place that i know that still has them is stock is racycles.com. Attached is the link to the wheel.
