Hey all, I’ve got a quick question.
I’ve heard a few times that the HED3 wheels can be interchanged between front and back. In other words, one wheel can be converted to perform as either a front wheel or a rear wheel. I can’t remember where I’ve heard this, but I have heard it a few times.
Is this true? Can a wheel indeed be converted to front or rear?

Yes, I’ve been told that you need to switch out the axle.
Pretty sure that ended years ago, like when freewheels were no longer the rage. Cant say I have ever heard of pulling a cassette off of one and installing a front axel (have a track cog however). That would put it like, back in the days the wheels had Specialized and NASA stickers on them…unless I am wrong.
