Just a heads up about the Drinkmore-Carbon Aerobar Drinking System from Vision…
The plastic cable ties are not strong enough to hold a full bottle of water if you hit a bump etc…
Luckily, I was only 5 minutes into my ride when I went over a speed hump in a residential neighborhood and the 2 right straps snapped… this is still a nice system, FSA just made a mistake about the strength of the straps. these can take up to 10lbs of force, but if you have a full bottle and hit a bump it may snap the cables… i plan on keeping the system and investing in some heavier cable straps from home depot…
I called FSA and let them know about the issue. since this is a fairly new item they havent received any problems yet. hopefully this may save some of you the hassle of experiencing this far deeper into a long ride…
