It’s quite striking that the most entertaining moment in the race was Hayden’s bottle.
In addition to that, we’ve been bashing Ironman for not having their timing in order. For this race it was all over the place with people jumping multiple places in the timing and gaps appearing and disappearing within minutes. For me that made it impossible to follow properly.
Looking at the T100 Spain start list just released, they have got almost every top ‘non-full distance’ athlete racing (possible exception of Fullagar) as well as full-distance capable athletes like Knibb, Derron, Lawrence, Lee. Gentle and Learmonth both hors de combat, remember, and LCB not fully fit; yet.
