Have you ever been on a ride and seen someone in full livestrong kit that was actually fast?

I have…once

but it was actually lance armstrong himself.

I the odds are much higher these days as you might run into Taylor Phinney as well.

Yep. Ben King from the U23 team.

Yep. Ben King from the U23 team.

damn. did you know who he was or was it like a mind blowing event “omg I was just crushed by a lance fanboy!”

No…but I have seen many that have donated to cancer research by buying the kit.

maybe if you stopped looking at what people were wearing when they they rode by, you’d break 2:30"ish" in an olympic.

is that thread still alive? Whens the race?

Just busting chops, BTW…

Yep, the whole Trek Livestrong U23 team at Tour of the Gila.

Why do you love cancer so much?

Taylor seems to like just the Trek kit. I see him all the time and he’s always in the white and yellow Trek Kit like this…

really, I’m just having fun posting pics from work without having to do the code

I sometimes wear a full Livestrong kit. I’m quite possibly the slowest rider at the cycling club. It was a present from my mom, the bib shorts are very comfortable and if any stuck up elitists have an issue, that’s there problem since I’m just riding to have fun.

Only old, fat, slow guys wear full team kits… usually riding a Trek too.

Same question…only…

“Have you ever been on a ride and seen anyone in a full Team in Training kit that was not back of the pack and arrogant about it?”

Nope. Never. I’ve only seen them move about as fast as a tectonic plate. No exceptions.

You all need to come up here sometime - these days the whole area around the Trek factory every other rider is in a full team kit…and look as if they are riding to see their doctor about their pending barriatric surgery.

No but I want to get one and join the club.
I might make it to the Trek and Nike stores this weekend and pick up a set then post a picture with the speedometer breaking the 24mph sound barrier.

That’s a complete lie !

I don’t ride a trek

i live on the intersection of the creek path and Broadway in Boulder…

So I see at least 4-5 guys from the Trek-Livestrong team every day. And I mean EVERY DAY. Usually, they’re riding in on Broadway. That scares the hell out of me.

Also, a few guys from the Cervelo Test Team are here. Henrich is one seriously cool guy and talks to everyone he rides past.

I did say “usually”.

Let me guess… Specialized? Maybe a Giant?

That would be the only expectation I would have from someone wearing a Livestrong kit.

I have 1x. When radioshack was in town. Dirk was out riding lemmon by himself, without a helmet in full livestrong kit.
