I think so too. I don’t know why, I just don’t like that guy and was rooting for Contador. Levi had a good ride today but I was suprised that the 1-2 punch of Levi and Contador could not break Ras on the final climb.
Now I guess we can root for a podium spot for Levi, if he can have a good TT.
Just goes to show what a needle in the ass will do for someone. What a joke, for christs sake a field hockey player at a d3 school who misses one test is suspended. They need to put in place: missed test = positive test. I hope his drug induced state wears off for the time trial and he loses 8 minutes. Otherwise what a bogus event the tour has become.
There’s some form of doping in pretty much every pro sport. Doesn’t make it a good thing, just the way it is and the way it will always be as long as there’s big money to be made and limited opportunities to make it. It just so happens that in cycling many of the fans are whiney and feel the need to point accusations at whoever is beating the person they want to win. They completely ignore the fact that their chosen favorite is every bit as likely to be doping (or not doping) as anyone else. Football fans don’t sit around whining that “That team cheated, my team would have won if their guys weren’t using steroids!”, they leave all that up to the organization to deal with and just enjoy the games.
GO CHICKEN! I wasn’t even particularly a fan of Rasmussen but now I hope he beats the pants off everybody and checks clean right to Paris just to piss in the face of all the whiners.
I think I’ll start the ST campaign for NO SNIVELING.

I think every single dude in the top 10 on GC is on dope… or HAS doped.
FWIW, they have more evidence that Lance was doped in 99 than Rasmussen doped this year. Take away Lance’s first win first before going after Rasmussen…

After what he went through on the final TT of '05, I wish him the best on Saturday. However, I have to admit I’ll be watching closely to see if history repeats.
If he loses by 5 minutes or more in the TT it wont be the first time someone has lost that much
