Has Cameron Brown made a tactical error .

by switching bike sponsors? Here’s why I ask. I remember reading something somewhere written by Dan that said something like every time Cam raced on his Litespeed road bike, he did not do well. But when he raced on the Blade, he always did better, particularly when it came to running. Dan attributed it to the fact that he could run better off the steeper Blade than he could off the road bike. If that’s the case (and I would love for Dan to chime in here and let me know if I’m remembering all this correctly), has Cam made a serious error by switching from his tried and true Blade to the Scott road bike? The Scott is a sweet machine, no doubt about it. But will the slack seat angle cause his run (and therefore his results) to seriously suffer?

I’m guessing he’ll be on the “Timetrial” and not the road bike pictured on the other thread:

No info on the angles but it looks steeper than 73 degrees.

I don’t think that frame has enough SCOTT decals.

Why bother with the wheel cut-out if the bike does not have an aero downtube? It looks cool and all, sure, but does a wheel fairing yield greater aero benefits then an aero downtube? Just wondering.

Have you ever seen a Colnago :wink:

It’s not about the bike…

Lance lover…

;->

You forget yourself SAC…this is Slowtwitchia…and HERE in Slowtwitchia…it IS about the bike!

:open_mouth:

But the biggest factor of all is how much more does his wallet weigh?

Well, I guess if his wallet is fat enough, it doesn’t matter how he well he races.
