Has anyone had luck with a cutout?

Is anyone riding a saddle with a cutout, and if so, does it help relieve the pressure on your sandbar?

. . . I ride '99 and '00 Specialized Body Geometry Pro saddles on all my bikes. They’ve got the groove all the way down the middle. Not a cutout, but obviously working with the same principle. I tried a million saddles (although I’m still trying to score an Arione cheap via eBay) and these work the best for me. I like the older models b/c the groove goes all the way to the tip of the saddle, where I end up riding a fair amount. The newer models backed the groove up a bit, which didn’t work for me.

I should retract my question, b/c I just went and read tom’s reviews at bikesport.

That explains it all. If you are getting an arione on ebay for your tri bike, dont. If you must, I might have one that I’ll sell you cheap. It was the impetus for my original question.

That’s why I’m trying to find one cheap. When the Azoto came out I got a decent deal on one, re-sold it on Ebay a week later. I usually wait for a bit once the hottest new thing comes out to give it a try.

If you are selling, pm me when you decide and we’ll see if my cheapness matches up with your hatred of the saddle!
