Do you know what you’re going to wear on the bike?
I’ll wear my normal race kit. I’ll have arm warmers in T1. I’ll have warmer stuff in the trunk of the car just in case but it will have to be blowing, raining and in the 40’s to need it.

Well last year it was still only 48F at the end of the bike. Have fun.
I raced last year in my usual get-up plus arm warmers. I really could have used gloves. My hands got so cold on the bike that I couldn’t get my bottle out of the cage.
Pre-race last year, the water was warmer than standing around on the beach!
Yep, might not be fun but more than bearable. I too did it last year and conditions were close too perfect. I just hope it’s safe. Quincy can get kind of sketchy on the return trip that time of morning.
I was planning on arm warmers and i was thinking about a wind vest as well. Yeah I guess load up the trunk and see what happens. It’s funny though, after I’m used to riding in the colder weather I know exactly what to wear but I haven’t had any cold rides yet this year so I don’t have a good feel for it. Good luck tomorrow!
