Was there 2 years ago for a wedding. It sucked. Food was bad, but such is the nature of all-inclusive. We had an ant infestation in our room, instead of giving us a new room immediately, they came and sprayed it. Didn’t work, so then they moved us. The resort is enourmous making everything incovenient. Didn’t come close to using all of our resort credits because everything was booked. Montezuma’s revenge kicked in for me on the last day making the return trip a nightmare.
On top of that, DR is a dump. It’s really Haiti with some lipstick.
Beaches were nice and the golf course was decent, but was very hard to get a tee time.
