Happy Birthday Dave! Still my hero. Met him first at Oct. '82 Ironman, outgoing, great sense of humor, humble, and still had the ego it takes to be the best. While we all want to see him race, he has a good sense of what is best for him and those he coaches. I hope 60 is the best year ever for him.

Wow…60 already for the man that really made Kona a legit race. Hope we will see him back there. He’s probably doing a bike course with 6000m of climbing today and then running a course with 6000 feet of climbing! Probably going to do 60x600 lbs of squats afterwards and spar with Chuck Norris in an MMA thing for 60 minutes to close off the day!
