Hamstring tenderness on longer rides

So training for my 1st IM and as the rides have lengthened I couple of minor issues have come up. 1st I had an issue with my outer right part of my mid foot getting sore. I made an adjustment to me cleat and that seems to be resolved. Next up. Hamstring tenderness. I had a 3.5 hour ride today and maybe 2+ hours in my right hamstring became a little tender. Nothing that kept me from continuing. I stopped for just 1 minute to step off the bike and that made it better and I only felt it a little after that. I had to run 30 minutes after and had no issues. I definitely need to do some more stretching and maybe some exercises to help strengthen that area more. Should I consider lower my saddle a tiny bit and see how that goes? Any other suggestions?

A Hertz donut could help. I never stop for minor pain but maybe you’re smarter than I am.

I just don’t want it to turn into something more than minor pain.

Check your fit. Hamstring pain can be a function of a high seat, seat too far back or shoes/cleats
