Hammer Balm

The post on IB-Relief reminded me of Hammer Balm. Anyone use it, and if so, on what? I have some, and it smells like pumpkin pie! (that’s a good thing).

If you are going to use that kind of stuff, I really like Biofreeze. It has been around a while and works great on sore muscles/joints. I think you can order it online - I had to do some “digging” when I first tried it (always a skeptic with this kind of thing). Found the Ilex paraguensis (or whatever) ingredient has been used for years for joint pain (South American Holly extract or some such thing).

I dunno’, but I sure have a lot of patients who get temporary relief (me too) with it and that is exactly what it is for.

rroof is correct – to the extent there is a good topical it is BioFreeze. A lot of chiropractors sell it for some reason as well as on line. A small Hammer rant – they have the big marketing machine but let me note the following: 1) A lot of their research is based on 4-5 hours of activity. That has little or nothing to do with a full distance tri (e.g., protein). 2) Read what is in an Endurolyte and then compare it to what is in a Thermolyte and then you can make an independent decision. Best.

Balm? BALM?

Who told you to use the balm? Did I tell you to use the balm??
