I have made my own travel arrangement for World’s in Hamburg. Wondering how others who are making their own travel arrangements are 1) shipping your bike, 2) arranging transportation from airport to hotel? The Holiday Inn in Hamburg does not provide a shuttle service. I am flying out of Seattle on Aug. 28th, will arrive in Hamburg Aug. 29th 7:40am - would anyone like to coordinate a ride to the Holdiay Inn?

NO shuttle? I fly in at 7:30, 29th to Ham. Am going to stay at the Holiday Inn.
Had not gotten that far on details yet. May have 4 folks, 1 bike.
I fly out of SFO on 28th at 7am.

What are you? a 300 pound slob that shoots off insulting emails to real athletes? Don’t hurt yourself pushing yourself away from the table.
I called Polk Majestic Travel, the transportation package alone is $350. I am planning on taking a taxi from the airport to the hotel (not sure how far this is). The hotel is only 3 miles from the race site. I have been told that the public transportation system in Germany is easy, very accessible and reasonable.
Are you arriving at 7:30am on Aug. 29th? I called the Holiday Inn Hamburg and they confirmed “no shuttle service”. If you are, perhaps we could find a van/taxi to take your party and myself to the hotel.
