Halloween Candy

A lot of the bulk bags have the exact number of pieces of candy on them. So if you give out 1 per child then it’s easy to keep track by doing some basic + and - when the night is done.

In Kansas City, my dude was a priest with a hidden flask. Who knows where he got this idea. He really wanted to throw holy water on people, but his mother nipped that in the bud. His sister was somebody from nightmare before Christmas or something. The dude had a big haul and gets his sister‘s candy too since she can’t eat it.

At my house, I had one group of four kids knock on my door. We have kids kind of in the neighborhood, but I don’t think they get out. I believe the church around the corner had something during the week for the kids.

Later today, my next-door neighbor will come over to show me his costume. He’s four years old and he has a fixation about the TV show Baywatch so he dressed up as a Baywatch lifeguard.

Fair question. One houseguest is an accountant who asked us for the count every time we opened the door and they kept a tally.

We tell the kids how many pieces they can have, but some take more (and we don’t enforce the limit).

Great pics thanks!

Crushed it!

Normally Reese’s are one of my favorites, but there is something that seems off with them this year. I think the stories are true about Hershey changing things this year due to the high cost of chocolate. It seems like instead of chocolate and peanut butter, it is peanut butter with the thinnest possible covering of chocolate. But I it will probably take a few more samples to confirm.
