I finally decided to get my hotel room for the race and we booked at the host hotel and by mentioning TRI 101 got a really good discount. I think it was almost $100 less per night Canadian than what was quoted on the website. Thought I would pass it on.
Yeah I had the same experience. Usually there is little to no benefit to mention events at “host hotels” but the $100/nt was a very nice surprise! More Beer $$$!
