Is the only difference between Hed 3 and Hed 3 carbon the weight? Is the H3C as sturdy as the H3? Will they come out with an H3C clincher?
Thanks!

Anything with a “C” at the end of a product name will be intrinsically faster and better.
P3C faster than P3
H3C faster than H3
Follow?!?!
Doesn’t the H3 have an aluminum rim? Whereas the H3C has a carbon rim.
FWIW I really like my H3C. Light and seems to be fast. I’ve only raced two races on it though.

So should I change my name from Ed to EdC?
Your new name shall be:
E3C in IL
You’ll definitely shave off 1/10 of second at your next race with this name change!!
Hed3 – Love mine – went with H3 rather than H3C due to I Live in a wet area and wanted an alum. braking surface. I had all carbon American Classics (Great wheels) and stopping while wet is a challenge.
If I lived in a dry area - I would go with H3C – but I have a high probability of racing on wet roads.
Regaurdless of what other threads say – Tubulars are no problem – just need to work smarter and not harder when installing them.
I notice a huge wieght difference on the front end when I change my HED3’s to the HED3C. The bike feels looser with the HED3C. Don’t kow if thats good or bad!
