Sorry if there was already a post on this. There is an interview with Gwen Jorgensen in the latest USAT magazine. She said she’s definitely coming back after the baby to go for 2020. She cites Spirig as an inspiration and says another baby would have to wait until after 2020.
She also says she was running up to 100 miles per week earlier in her pregnancy!

My prediction: the pregnancy will be a “macro-taper” as Rapp sometimes refers to it and she comes roaring back in 2018.
Speaking of Spirig she told me via Twitter she’s staying short course when she returns (before deleting the tweet for some reason) as she’ll get to spend more time with family.
It’ll be fascinating seeing her come back to ITU the way Duffy is racing at the moment.
