having read tom’s reviews / thoughts on guru’s, i looked at the website. geometry looks kind of odd. top tubes appear long (similar to litespeed) but head tubes seem really tall as the pictures appear to show ordinary headsets. for example the head tube on a 57cm guru is longer thab on my 58cm road bike!! is this correct??
Guru’s geometry does sound incredibly unusual. They are a tricky fit and it is very important that the dealer actually measure the bike precisely instead of just relying on the published dimensions.
Example: My 52cm Aero-Ti 700c and 49cm Trilite 650c have nearly identical positional dimensions and very similar frame dimensions but the names of the sizes sound very different.
As I say, you must have experience and practice fitting these to people. It can be very confusing until you have learned the real, actual dimensions of each frame size.
