As for the PTN, its rubric says “The fastest known times in professional non-drafting triathlon. This is the closest thing the sport has to a definitive record book.”
But like Texas 2018 and downcurrent swims, they should be excluded from ‘fastest’ lists - same as times for the swim or bike recorded by an athlete who then DNFs.
