Group/Club Rides in Boston?

New to Boston, living in Brookline, F-ing love it
My bike will be arriving today so I want to get in rides now, (apparently riding won’t happen in the Winter here)

So question goes…
Anyone know of any good group rides in Boston? Weekends preferred.
Or anyone riding this weekend in Boston and want someone to draft you the whole time?
I tried to look at old posts about this, but the choices seem to be plentiful, so it is kinda overwhelming.
So out of laziness I will ask again.

Check out Charles River Wheelmen at www.crw.org
.

Road bike or tri bike?

My team (MIT) is riding tomorrow… meeting at the MIT student center steps.

Otherwise, I suggest you hit up our sponsor shop at Landry’s for their Tuesday evening hammerfests. (=

I live in Brookline -

as posted above crw - their saturday AM rides are good - but you now need to be a member (cheap).

Tuesday night Landry’s/Green Velo do a ride at 6 out of Cleveland Circle - I am there when I can be and plan to be this week.

Sunday I am racing Gloucester (just a sprint) and then planning a 40 ish mile ride (I assume up there) if you want to get up early

NEBC (northeast bike club) also had rides - check their site - CBTT every wednesday…

PM me if you want to ride together or want more info!

I have lived in (in order) Australia, Austin and San Diego.
The concept of cold is foreign to me. But it’s good to see that it is doable to ride in the winter, at the very least I may be able to commute.

Thanks for the replies so far,

Road Bike for who asked

Landry’s and Fast Splits both do indoor classes in the winter - helps with the boredom of trainer rides
