Grogan takes 4th out of male field of 296

CENTRAL FLORIDA TRI-SERIES #1

Personally, I was rooting for Reback.

1 DAVID KUENDIG 24 DAYTONA BEACH FL 2 4:35 8 1:05 8 31:03 23.2 7 36:41 2 0:39 1 17:01 5:41 54:21

I need to talk to Bill Picciano, he really needs to improve his running!

maybe everyone knows the answer…but is John Reback related to Laura (now Bennett I think)…? if yes, they got some genes running in that family!

Brother. Google John, David, Paul, Laura. Paul is the dad and has been a top age grouper since forever. A kind and inspirational person. I have not met Laura, but I have the privilege of knowing John, David and Paul. I whine to Paul so often, he is in my speed dial.

Hey Monk… I also beat a female field of 112 as well! Is that good for anything?

yeah nice job Kgrog!!! Hope to see you at Pman!

In at 7th place is a budy of mine who works out at the gym I used to work at Fred Constantini. Fred’s a fantastic athlete and I do not know how he does it with like 4 kids!

nice race KJGrog!!

you guys were scary fast. I was there today, probably watched you start as I was in the Clydes (5th wave). I finished in 1:18.53, you could’ve looped the run course and still caught me. Had fun though, and it was my first tri.

I was there as a spectator and it should be noted that the top 7 elite guys came in off the bike at the same time. No penalties were given but I was told by a couple of the top guys that it might as well have been an ITU race. Not that it matters or that anyone is surprised, but just keep that in mind when comparing times from the top 7 guys to the rest of the field.

Reigning Pineappleman

At your level–No, a female field of 112 does not count. But for me, MOP in that would be heaven.

And BTW, this “Reigning Pineappleman” stuff is doing nothing but whipping up the competition.

Monk, what were the distances? I’m guessing 400/20/10. Also there are extra figures in there I can’t work out, tell me what I am missing from Kevin’s:

KEVIN GROGAN 31 CLERMONT FL 11 5:17 1 1:00 4 30:21 23.7 4 36:38 6 0:42 6 18:00 6:00 55:18
Swim 5:17 1st T1 1:00 4th Bike 30:21 T2 23.7! 4th Run 36:58 6th

No idea on the remainder unless he took 42 secs to change before doing an 18:00 victory lap and then drank beer for 6 minutes!
