Greg X, I'm curious

I noticed your comment on one of the Triathlon Forum threads referring to Bush. It’s obvious you don’t care for Bush, but not being an American, I’m curious what exactly makes you feel that way. We hear a lot of Bush-slamming here, Canada, but no real explanation of what he’s doing wrong and what would be a better course of action. I’d like to get some Americans’ opinions.

“he is profoundly intellectually challenged (i think he may be afflicted with bovine spongiform encephalopathy);”

Can you prove that?

I think he means Denny Crane.

Denny Crane.

Here’s some good information on this topic.

President Bush has no intellectual curiosity, which is something he openly admits and his best of friends will tell you (follow the link). He gets information from very few sources. He does not read if he doesn’t have to. He wants his advisors to do the heavy-lifting of the brain work and come to him with outlines.

Intelligence is something impossible to guage, but the lack of intellectual curiosity and the lack of interest in differing (or, God-forbid, opposing) viewpoints is plain to see.

If you are not curious about the world around you it is impossible to truly care about the world around you. If you are not curious about the world around you world events are nothing but ink on paper and numbers on screens; it is noise and chatter; pointless data flowing around needing to be parsed and put into boxes.

This is what makes him one of the worst presidents in US history, quite possibly the worst when you think about the shape America was in before he took office and how he left it. He is an abomination as a steward, and I would not hire him to run a lemonade stand (and I’m sure his business associates would agree). He has no vision. He has no interest. He has no compassion.

If you look at that link you have people who are extremely loyal to him saying very disturbing things about his leadership qualities. Of course they see these things as positives, but if you look at where we are you can see the truth as clear as day.
