it has been nice to have a break from the green theme that had been spewing relentlessly from advertisers and media outlets.
everybody wants a clean environment, everybody is for clean air and water, but it is entirely fair to say the amount of green noise was overwhelming and frankly, a little sickening. to have the topic quiet is a welcome relief, IMO.
another plus is that celebrities are quiet with their endless green anthems.
meanwhile, consumers are trying to make better decisions within reason, given often times the proverbial enviro-friendly products are 2-3 times more in cost compared to other products.
could it be the over exposed movement of green has become passe in light of today’s serious financial/unemployment concerns?
