For LT testing, I used Chris Dalcin, very well known, highly respected for his work.

For gait anaylsis, I can recommend a chiropractor if you like, just PM.
Try these guys for Gait Analysis
Good place, my sports med. doctor is there, they’ll even help recommend proper shoes for you.
he’s done 2 VO2/LT tests with me, and both have been very professional and well done, as well as given almost identical results both times. as well, the results that were found in the test correlate to ‘feel’ while training (the LT numbers we got correlate to when it actually hits me).
the numbers have also improved my run speed significantly this year.

I totally forgot about Ian - yes I had some testing done with Ian too, great guy and the resutls were pretty much the same as that of my LT testing with Chris. Unfortunately he’s not in the GTA area anymore, but certainly worth the drive to where he is now. And excellent, excellent bike broker/fitter I may add.
They are good. I used to go there for general meds but they stopped doing it and the $2000 per year for ongoing is a bit steep for me now. May see if I can get it covered though and go back since I really liked my doctor there.
I like my Sports Med. Doctor than my own family doctor. A few times I’ve gone to see him for non-sports things. What $2000 are you referring to, is there a program you can sign up, isn’t all covered under OHIP?
Thanks everyone for your help.
I am located in north west Mississauga, so I will check out IMFit.

Nope. He’s stopped doing family practice medicine so if I want to keep seeing him for that type of stuff along with other work, I’d need to pay a fee outside of OHIP. For Sports MEdicine stuff where I’m referred or want to use the other stuff, he’s good to go, but not for anything outside what would eb considered “sports med” (e.g. annual exam)
