Im thinking of running the grand canyon rim to rim sometime around thanksgiving. has anybody done this? if so, can you give me some info about the trip. also if anybody in the area wants to join, let me know. I ahve hiked there several times and done some shorter runs, but never crossed the canyon.
I have done this a few times, run/hike. One very cool way to do it is to go south to north, stay in cabins on the north rim and then go back the next day. A couple things to think about are, some of the water may be turned off in the canyon by then and the north rim may be closed and snowed in by November.
We usually plan a trip in late october, but didn’t this year.
