I am wiring up my SRM (wired version, obviously) and was wondering if anyone has use gorilla tape (same makers of gorilla glue) on the down tube (carbon fiber) to attach the wires?
i know this isn’t what was asked but i’m curious…why not just use a zip tie?
I have no experience with Gorilla tape but it seems like a lot of overkill…
I’d be inclined to go with electrical tape.

You have a good point. I have used zip ties in the past but, the wire is still exposed in on the down tube and has gotten caught before.
Gorilla tape is fine. Electrical tape is probably better and likely to be thinner and thus more aerodynamic.

also, see about wrapping the wires around the shifting cables. cleaner, easier and no tape
