I’m going to be in Vegas soon staying at Mandalay Bay. Anyone know of any good runs in the vicinity? I’d love to get outside of the city but don’t think I’ll have access to a car.
Anywhere from 5-10 miles would be great.
One of the most scenic runs on the entire continent is just about 15 minutes away. Google or Google Earth “Red Rock Canyon”. The paved road loop is about 13 miles and absolutely spectacular.
could I make it there on foot?
Just run south. When you get away from the strip turn east and run through the Sunset Park area then turn around and run back.
Red Rock is great but too far from you. It would be worth renting a car and running there - yeah…that awesome.
I run the strip in the AM but a better solution is to run in the neighborhoods behind the hotels. I have never had any issues.
