How many of you guys get tomorrow, Good Friday off? I guess if you get it off if you dont mind saying what your profession is. I work in a Investment Firm and get it off, first job ive ever gotten good friday off.

Aerospace - we get it off. Interestingly, last year we got President’s day but not Good Friday…

I get tomorrow off. I have today off too because I work at a jewish hospital. we get double the holidays.

I have tomorrow off, because I have every other Friday off… but the company as a whole does not get Good Friday off. Defense Contractor.
We do not get MLK, President’s Day, or Good Friday off. The only thing I can surmise is that my company does not like black people, dead Presidents, or Jewish people. I work for a large biotech/medical device company.

Four days? Do you work in the public sector? I haven’t had Easter Monday off since I was in university, seriously annoying as my friends who work for gov’t, schools and uni’s all make grand plans for the day and invite me along.
I have to get me a government job!
To the OP, it’s a stat holiday in Canada so most of us get the Friday off.
I work for a private company, but for some reason we get Monday off as well.
I’m not complaining…

Aerospace. We get a reduced number of holidays off during the year in exchange for about 7-10 days off at Christmas on top of our normal vacation. If Christmas falls on a Tuesday (and maybe Wednesday as well) we will get all that week off and go back to work no earlier than Jan 2, depending on what day of the week that is.
Good Friday is not one of those we get off (Memorial Day, Labor Day, 4th July, Thanksgiving, President’s Day, and 1 more I think) so I’ll be at work on Friday.
