Good ebay auction sniper?

my old program was great (moxie proxy) but the auction sniping capability was cut off.

Anyone been using a good one that they trust?

I use eSnipe.

What the hell are y’all talking about? What is an auction sniper?

Disregard that question, I searched the web and found my answer before submitting. I didn’t mean to post the question.

X2 on esnipe. Really easy to use and has worked well for me over the past three years of using it.

I just hate spending money to get the right to spend more money. You could buy the programs in the past. Looks like there are all gone.

One nice thing about eSnipe is there is a Firefox add in that lets you set your bid up while you are on the eBay page for the item you want to bid on. Not sure if others have this feature but its really handy.

auctionsniper.com gives you like 5 free snipes and has worked everytime for me!!!

Auctionstealer.com is free for 3 snipes a week

+1. After the first 5, it charges 1% of the bid, if you win.

What does it mean on the free 3 per week you cannot specify snipe time?

it means you cannot specify the snipe lead time (default is 5 seconds). I set mine up for 4 seconds and have never lost. Your 3 free snipes all come at a lead time of 5 seconds (which is recommended by auctionsniper (just in case something happens with the internet connection)). I hope that helps!

It says the free service is 10 seconds, the pay service is 3 seconds.

I guess this implies the free is fixed, which 10 seconds is fine with me. Will have to sign up.

Thanks

Have to pay after 30 days

Web based is free, and works perfectly well for me. Can specify groups of items, can specify how late you want to snipe (down to 1 or 2 sec).

I missed that. Wonder why the web based is free and the download costs. Any features the web based is missing that the download version has?

I’ve never actually looked at the download version before; the web based version has served all my needs.
