Anyone stayed at the Shilo Inn? Any place you would avoid? I know the whole house rental thing is the cat’s ass but I don’t have that kind of money to rent a house (or the critical mass of people going to the event with me to split the cost).
The Shilo is decent and pretty close to everything. You might think about staying out near Hayden Lake. Some friends rented a cabin out there this year and it was really nice. Further out from the race, but worth the drive if you want a quite place to get away from the hype.
