Im “going electric” because there are a ton of songs that I like and have started to learn on the acoustic, but it just doesn’t due them justice. I have a taylor DN3, which I have thought about adding a pickup to, but I’m scared that something unfortunate could happen to it in the process (I’m pretty attached to it as it was my first nice guitar). Don’t get me wrong, I am not looking to give up the acoustic, but supplement it.
Also are we sure the carbon clincher electric has been tested? I need to see data…
Also that godin is a beautiful guitar, I’ll have to look for them at GC.
BTE (“Best Thread Ever”)!
We’ve run across each other in a few threads recently (I take the summer off from ST b/c I’m not working) and I’m still figuring out your sense of sarcasm.
It is impossible for this to be the best thread ever b/c we all know that would contain a pic of Allison Stokke, which the BTE had plenty of.
Have you decided yet?
Pulled the trigger on a new/used one today. Traveling next weekend to see family and came across a Godin LG-P90 that had just been drastically reduced. EDIT: Can’t wait to see it in person!
For me there is one guitar and one guitar only,
The Fender Jazzmaster

I don’t know crap about guitars but this one just speaks to me.
Honesty I haven’t decided yet. Right now I am between a strat and a Gibson lespaul (The ephiphone les paul got shot down). I have been looking for good sale prices and have decided to wait a little longer to pull the trigger in hopes that I can save up for a better amp, which is seems that I have highly undervalued. The guitars both sound great, but are unique in there own ways. I can’t decide which sound I like more, and the playability is fairly comparable to me. Thanks for the offer but I think Ill pass, though I like the hybrid with the classifieds.

Can’t go wrong with either. Post a pic when you get it!
X2 don’t listen to the fan boy"this is better than thatN crap. I love SGs and Strats equally. And I would never rag on LPs either. I kinda want a semi hollow Jazz guitar too! Yes, I like them all and appreciate them for their uniqueness. Find the besg deal you can. I will say it seems you get more guitar for your money with Fender.
