Go Hillary!

I lost pretty much all respect for her when I saw this:

.

Except that Hilliary is the one claiming that Obama lacks qualification because he’s inexperienced, which begs the question… If experience is the key to qualification, how does either out-qualify McCain?

She is claiming that she is more experienced that he is. And that is a campaign tactic. Besides, it doesn’t matter if either has more or less “experience” than McCain, because experience required to be POTUS cannot be defined. Guaranteed that McCain has made a LOT more mistakes than the two of them combined. And I say that liking him.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Sure they will be just F I N E.And that is the truth "they’’ will be fine.Especially John Edwards trial lawyer hedgefund boy and he knows what is best for everybody.

She is claiming that she is more experienced that he is.

I know that, but she probably shouldn’t have said it quite that way. In drawing contrasts between herself and Obama by likening herself to McCain as being more experienced, and thus the more qualified candidate, she unintentionally implied that McCain would be more “qualified” than either of them. The talking heads on CNN last night were discussing how Hillary’s comments might be interpreted by the public given that neither she nor Obama has as much “experience” as McCain. They seemed to think that in a Hillary-McCain race in November, political hay could be made by the Republicans over her “experience” comments by noting that McCain has far more experience than she does.

Besides, it doesn’t matter if either has more or less “experience” than McCain, because experience required to be POTUS cannot be defined.

It doesn’t matter if YOU believe it’s irrelevant. It matters what the majority of voters believe (or more precisely, can be made to believe).

Guaranteed that McCain has made a LOT more mistakes than the two of them combined.

I’m not sure what that has to do with anything.

Being a governor of a State does not prepare you for the inner workings of Washington any more than having been a US Senator or Congressman.

What about being a devoted fan of The West Wing?

The conversation in this thread is a real laugh.

Hillary is complaining that another candidate is getting more votes and press than her based on reasons outside of his experience and qualifications.

When I pointed out that Hillary (and Obama) is getting more attention and votes than more experience and qualified candidates for reasons outside their experience and qualifications to be POTUS, I recieve ridicule from her supporters.

I have been a Democrat for a very short time and I am disliking it already.

It is starting to remind me of why I disliked the whole PC atmosphere of my college years. Point out anything race or gender related that does not follow the party line and your will get much grief!

Remind me again how McCain is more qualified than everyone else? He’s only been a US Senator (maybe US Rep, I can’t remember).

Sadly, it’s a product of the media generation. As someone pointed out, ever since JFK v. Nixon, it’s been less about substance and more about appearance… and it’s only gotten worse. It’s far easier to point out your opponents’ “flaws” (whether real or fabricated) than it is to point out your own strengths. I fear it will be that way for many decades to come.

I really couldnt do that, because originally, I was pointing out Joe Biden, who has been on the Senate Foreign Relations and Judiciary Committee since 1973 and has served as it’s Chairman twice. By far he had the best policy on Iraq. If either one choose him as the VP, I will got with them.

My intention isn’t to disagree on your statement on who is more qualfied, just pointing out that it clearly has no part in the election process.

You go girl! Hillary never gets the respect she has earned.

I was pointing out Joe Biden, who has been on the Senate Foreign Relations and Judiciary Committee since 1973 and has served as it’s Chairman twice.\

I always liked him, but was realistic about his chances. I think he will be the new Sec of State, regardless of who wins the final election.

whoop, whoop!

i thought you guys would be bashing her after the big victories yesterday.

no commentary?
Where were these said victories?

Do all of you women really think she will do something for you that a man can’t or won’t?

Yes.

absolutely, yes. but more than that, i admire hillary clinton and feel she is a great leader.

Really, I’m not a fan of hers, but am interested to know some specifics on Hillary that you admire.

I felt the same way. I can’t believe that there are so many people on the LR that haven’t accepted that she’s going to be the next president.

I don’t know about that. As it stands now, her chance of even getting the Democratic nomination is quite slim. The lead Obama has means it’s virtually certain that he will have the pledged delegate lead going into the convention. He also has a ~600,000 lead in the popular vote. Superdelegates will decide the nomination and it’s highly unlikely that they will vote against public opinion.

The fact is, if you really look at the math, Hillary lost ground yesterday. She had to have a huge win and when it’s all said and done she will have only picked up a handful of delegates more than Obama yesterday, if any at all.

Hillary’s only hope is to somehow persuade the superdelegates to vote against public opinion b/c the math simply doesn’t work in her favor.

you and jenhs are delusional. sorry, you know I love you as a person, but Hillary really has you snowed over

Oh really? blink blink Well then it is a good thing a big strong man like you came along and showed us how silly we are. What a relief! We almost voted for a smart, competent womans as president! Scary!

What other womans is running for President?
