Glueing Carbon and alloy

I posted earlier that my trio bar extensions have come off the alloy part of my handle bars (FSA TRIMAX Carbon Aeros). I am in the process of talking to the shop to get replacement but in the mean time I would like to try to fix so that I can ride. What happend by the looks of it is that the resin origionally used went inside the tube rather than on it so it didnt do much in terms of sticking so now its lose. No damage just came lose. What kind of bond/glue can I use to attach the carbon extension back onto the allow inner tube. Kind of like trying to glue an allow key into a carbin key hole.

Thanks
Johan

If you never want it to come out I’m sure some JB Weld would do the trick.

x2 on JB Weld. That stuff is amazing.

3M makes a dual mix epoxy called DP-110.

Much stronger than JB Weld and recommended by the Kestrel crew.
