This looks like another attack that didn’t go off quite right. I am guessing the car caught fire early, screwing up the attack.
Early reports said bystanders wrestled the two to the ground. I do love to see that. The only mistake seems to have been the premature use of a fire extinguisher to put out the fire on one attackers clothes.
I hope we get more solid information soon. This stuff is really important, well, except by comparison with Paris Hilton news.
BBC is reporting that the men who drove the car into the airport were Asian, so that will surely affect the investigation into the foiled car bombs from a day or two ago in London, which some think may be related.

Several individual attacks in this country were written off as not terrorism for no good reason. The LAX attack a few years ago outside the El Al counter by a Muslim. Guess he just happened to go nuts there.
