I am outraged at the lack of Giro coverage. I would gladly pay the 6 bucks for the web coverage but, I cannot sit in front of my computer most of the day. I need the TV/VCR/TIVO option to get my daily fix.

there are lots of places to get it…satellite from what i’ve read…but not worth it to me.
you can watch the steaming video later as well. just click on the Watch Video link whenever you want to watch the stage and then watch away. yea it isn’t as good as watching it on TV direct, but sure is better then the 1 hour Vuelta wrap up show OLN showed last year…
There are a few ways to resolve such dilemmas. Write letters to OLN for not showing stuff on TV during the week, and let them know the only reason to have OLN on your expanding cable costs is to watch bike racing not bull riding. Remind them also that Ironmanlive.com tried that approach before with a “pay per view,” and is back now to a no charge system.
A letter to the Dicovery Channel is also great to find out whether with their investment they would not prefer that cycling is covered a bit more heavy.
