Just spoke to Giro customer service and they have decided to release the helmet in 08. Sorry if this is old news!

Hello,
As of right now the Advantage 2 is not available. I know that everyone has been waiting for a very long time and we just please ask you to continue to be patient with us. We hope to have them available by the end of August. My only advice would be to keep checking back, but as of right now they are not available to any shop.

I was ordering some other things from Easton/Bell today and asked about the Advantage2. They don’t even have a SKU in their computer system to put them on backorder so it doesn’t look like they’ll be out anytime in the near future.

Why are you all so obsessed with this mythical helmet? There are plenty of other aero helmets out there and you can’t all have wind tunnel tested them all with your positions to figure out which is best for you.

It meets the Euro CEN standard, which is why its readily available. To be sold in the US, it has to meet the tougher CPSC standard, which it appears to be having trouble passing those tests.
I have several helmets that meet the CPSC standard, and all I can say is that I don’t want to ride with any thing that can’t meet that as they are pretty rinky-dinky as they are. Tim
Does it have the CPSC approved decal inside of it? Do you have it in Large?
