So I was in the local LBS today retrieving my wife’s bike after a tune-up, and noticed a Giant Trinity on the sales floor. I’m not really familiar with their tri line, and the frame wasn’t what really caught my attention. What I noticed were the relatively deep stock wheels. Looks like Giant has taken a cue from Felt, and maybe even gone one up by including an aero set of wheels at their entry level offering. Does anyone know anything about these 42mm deep rims? No writing on them at all, other than the GIANT labels. Of course they wouldn’t be like going with a cf wheel, but I’ve gotta think those wheels would be WAY more economical than a pair of 404s, and on a flat course aero trumps weight, right?
