at least the results page shows 12:00, didn’t think that was at all possible?
Missed you , sorry you had a bad day. It doesn’t make things any better, but, there will be many more for you, you’re young. I know you would have given the old man a run for his money.
Joe also ran into the unmanned aid stations on the bike. He stopped and made them “self serve” he said. Better to lose a few minutes, than risk dehydration. Another reason why the times may have been a bit slower this year.

For the record, as I am one of the GFT participants who got a 6 min penalty for assistance in changing a flat tire at mile 82, could not for the life of me open the plastic bag that my clincher tube came packed in from taiwan, sweaty hands and thumping heart, results from being in 8th place OA when i flattered - rendered me totally useless and a nice guy driving his eldery mom around stopped and gave me a hand as the marshall came by on the motor bike and promptly gave me the penalty as the rules state. However it was not for drafting - nor as the next 10 guys raced past me, all with words of encouragement - was it a competetitive advantage having a flat. Things happen in racing but by and large I have found that people in our sport play fair.
